PRESS RELEASE

14th July 2023

Dissemination and Promotion Activities of the Work Inclusion 2021 Project Continue

The European project Work Inclusion 2021 (WINC2021) successfully continues its awareness and promotion initiatives, focusing particularly on migrant inclusion.

Carried out within the framework of the Erasmus KA2 program – Cooperation Projects for Adult Education, the project is led by a transnational partnership including Euroform RFS (Italy), Osengo (France), 1st E.K. Prevezas (Greece), Afridat Innovation (Germany), and Incoma (Spain). This collaboration aligns with a European perspective on migrant inclusion and enhancing the tools available to adult education professionals.

Between late 2022 and mid-2023, the partnership organized two impactful multiplier events in Spain and Greece, strengthening the importance of international cooperation and sharing best practices.

These events provided a significant opportunity to highlight the need for innovative tools to promote migrant inclusion in local and European labor markets. Among the topics addressed, particular emphasis was placed on the presentation of project deliverables, especially the WIN-VAE methodology for validating experiences.

The WIN-VAE methodology is a cutting-edge tool designed to enhance the skills acquired by migrants through informal and non-formal experiences, promoting the recognition of their qualifications and facilitating their entry into the labor market. With this innovation, the project aims to address the current challenges of social and labor inclusion in a continuously evolving European context.

In addition to the multiplier events in Spain and Greece, dissemination events were held in migrant reception centers to showcase the potential of the WIN-VAE methodology.

During the last Multiplier Event in Preveza (Greece), participants highlighted how the WIN-VAE could be a turning point for the inclusion of Albanian migrants in Greece.
Meanwhile, the focus of the Multiplier Event in Seville (Spain) was on the possible applications of project deliverables from the perspective of professionals working with migrants, fostering a rich exchange of experiences and opinions. Participants provided an overview of the migration and refugee situation from Turkey, India, Brazil, and the United Kingdom, emphasizing the need for such a tool.

The events in Spain and Greece brought together sector experts, representatives from civil society organizations, local authorities, and migrants themselves, fostering constructive dialogue and offering a unique opportunity to discuss best practices at a European level.

The Work Inclusion 2021 project enthusiastically continues its journey, aiming to raise awareness of the importance of inclusion and the appreciation of diversity.

In the coming months, further dissemination and training initiatives are planned, which will continue to promote the results and tools developed by the partnership.
